They didn't specify which of the two fresh or salt water fishing. If salt water mine would be off the Southern California coast around the Channel. Islands. The most awesome fishing ive ever done was there. As far as fresh water? That would be Lake Sammamish Washington.

Although I now live in California, my favorite fishing destinations are in my home state of Wisconsin. You can fish for Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike and Muskie, perch, blue gill, crappie, and much more. Additionally, ice fishing in the winter is excellent.

Best place is the retention pond across the street from my house in St. Cloud, Florida. There's a lot of Bass......and a lot of gators!!!!

Lake Eufaula on the Georgia/Alabama state line is my favorite place to fish. On any given cast you have the potential to catch your personal best largemouth Bass. Though my biggest two Bass were caught on another lake just a little further north I’ve caught more fish over 4 lbs on Eufaula than any other lake I have ever fished.

Lake Guntersville Alabama for bass hands down.
