My favorite spot was the 6th hole of the Fort Lee VA golf course it was full of hungry bass as well as golf balls. Best fished at dusk when no more foursomes would be playing through

My favorite place to fish is Kellys Island off of Marble Head Ohio. My friends and I have been fishing there for Walley during the first week of July for about seven years. The fishing is good in this area during that time of the year, after that the fish move east toward Erie Pa. Lake Erie Walley are in my opinion the very best fresh water fish that can be found. We trailer the boat and board the Marble Head ferry, while on the island we rent a slip at the marina and fish every day for a week. We rent a condo with all of the needs for a comfortable stay. There is a state park on the island and the fish commission offers a nice fish cleaning station. Lake Erie walley fishing is the very best.

Gratiot Lake in Upper Michigan. The best spot to cast depends on what your fishing for, bass, northern pike, perch, etc. large bass can be found NW corner of the lake. If you make the trip there be polite to the residence living there or they might tell you to go jump in Lake Superior which is only about 2 miles away as the crow flies. LOL
