There are a ton of great songs about military life, that reference the military in some way; some of the more modern works may have a video associated with it, and some of the older classics continue to define the military experience to this day. From country to rock, ballads & pop, to more traditional flavors--did a particular song inspire, educate, or simply strike a chord with you? Please feel free to share any inspiring military-related music, any music or songs that makes you think of/or reminds you of your military service, as well as any links, photos, descriptions or anything that helps you tell your story. The idea here is to have a fun and thought provoking discussion, which will be fun, informative, and provide a means to tell our stories... and to learn about one another as well as our sister services in the process. Wishing you all the best, I look forward to hearing from you, and interacting with you all in the threads!

Another good song is "in color" Jamey Johnson. Only one verse is military related but it is great.

One more that I can think of is Castle of Glass by Linkin Park it was a tie in with MoH warfighter last year. Give it a listen it is particularly good for today's vets.
