Sanitizing the "F-Bombs" from my vocabulary in normal conversations.... especially with my Mother!

I called someone a "Blue Falcon"at a wrestling event. A wrestler was near me and said that he'd like to use the phrase and asked what it meant...I told him and the wrestler I called a 'Blue Falcon' was Jeff Jarrett.

Mine was in the early 2000's quite a while after being out, and I did not even realize I was doing it when a senior company executive told me, "Get off the ship and into the office." Still don't recall to this day which part of "me" he was talking about...it is just me.

Still happens often but if I make a mistake, I always say "as you were".
Everytime, I needed to get focused. I'm like white on rice or a dog with its last bone. lol

I was in charge of a teenage Bible study at my church. The pastor was 2 rooms away having a Bible study at the same time. The kids were carrying on and laughing because they had a twenty something woman in charge alone for the day and they thought they could get away with a lot of ****. Well, I got my 'military voice' out and told them to "Sit down and shut up." I guess it was loud; the pastor in the other room sat down and shut up! He was a Navy veteran, and I guess it resonated with him because he told me later about this. We both got a good laugh out of it, and they teens never misbehaved with me again.

The angry CSM came out of at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. I was in my 34th hour of on-duty time organizing the large parking lot and 254 sedans and pick up within the lot. Assigning parking stalls and putting the units in them. Aften having several officers in marked units parking just any old place , I was becoming very flustrated and began carrying around a crow bar (6'2"" & 225 lbs). I just carried it.
Well, as luck would have, the next vehicle that came into the lot pulled into a stall in the middle of the marked unit section. In my parade ground voice I proceeded to inform the individual that he was parked in the wrong spot and should move the vehicle immediately to the front row, which was set aside for unmarked units. He looked one look at me, nodded his head and moved the vehicle without saying a word. It turned he was the Commissioner for my California Highway Patrol and he pulled the word out to the uniforms to do what we Auto Tech asked or told them because there was only one Auto Tech for each of three locations and over 1000 vehicles (sedans, pick-up and motorcycles) being taken care of by those three volunteer techs.

A few years ago, a group of family veterans attended a series of Cubs games in Chicago. The second day, we had nose-bleed seats at Wrigley. Upon finding our seats, there were a group of WWII and Korean War veterans that we had to go through to get to our seats. My brother-in-law ask how we would get through them. In my command voice i bellowed…”On your Feet!!!! And the old vets jumped to the position of attention and we went through to our seats and sat down. Then one old trooper said….and the recovery command. I said …Take seats and they did in unison. Just shows that old habits don’t die!!!!!
