I use deep breathing to settle my mind when I have 5 minutes to spare. I like chair yoga to remove all the stress and negativity of my day.

Yoga, actually. I love that I can’t think about anything else while doing it (unless I want to fall over, lol)

My go to spot is in nature, my go to activity is archery/ bow hunting. This is the time of year when I start the get ready for the season routine. fine tuning my bow ensuring that my form and my equipment is in sync. Going into the woods setting and checking cameras, climbing and just sitting in my treestand, listening and wating nature just be. Now that's Zen! I even find a peace in getting my firearms cleaned and zero'd in. If the weather isn't favorable and I get antsy, it's me, the wife and national goegraphic with a bowl of popcorn.

My go-to method for a mental health reset involves introspection and rationality. I believe in addressing the root causes of any emotional turbulence and finding practical solutions to regain balance. I understand that life is dynamic, and situations change. I adapt and choose to embrace the uncertainty!

Several years ago I began learning shamanic journeying - sort of a form of meditation. This worked so well for me that I was able to get off a lot of medication and to begin sleeping well again.

Disconnection. I enjoy going to someplace, anyplace, that has no one. At least not a lot of people. There may be a few here and there but go camping or just sit and relax. It allows me to take a moment to not have to concern myself with others, their needs, and just take in the day. The times I don't get to do that, because let's face it I have to work and I have little mouths to feed still, I find time to just video game. There's no one else's needs in a simulated game, so it allows me to be somewhere else, even if it's just for a little while.

Good morning. Excellent post. Thank You for sharing this. I usually go for a walk, or just either sit outside or inside My covered porch when the weather is cool.
