Going to the mountains around Lake Tahoe and just enjoying the silence! Some mindfulness in nature and just soaking in the atmosphere really helps me reset and find peace.

I play an automation city builder video game on my computer. It engages my mind to figure out the current issue that needs fixing and a sense of pride when it's been fixed.

I ride my mountain bike or dirt bike. Having any sort of hyper focus activity helps me block out intrusive thoughts and gives me a much needed mental break.

My go to method for a mental health reset is talking with my Wounded Warrior Project Peer Support Group. These friends can truly relate to what may be on my mind at the time. They are all older and wiser than me so I like to hear their opinions and adopt their feedback. It's always a good time whenever we meet.

Every Fri after work, I volunteer at a farm animal sanctuary. It’s always a mental recharge for me because it’s a nice feeling to see these animals have a new life after being spared neglect and death, and also to be around other like-minded volunteers who have compassion for animals and care about the environment.

I play a good game of Pickleball with my Friends, and then I go to the Pool for a Swim for about 45 minutes. I am totally relaxed.
