I go to the breath. Really trying to see and feel it I sync. And if you can do it by the ocean, it's even more of a reset!

keeping score of baseball games in my 200 page score keeping book...sometimes it is current games ...sometimes it is of older games that involved amazing events that made baseball history.

Going to the gym or any type of exercise. My parents dogs love it when I come by and take them for a walk. Don’t look at my phone and it’s us 3 taking the same route or going on an adventure

Going to the Man cave downstairs and firing up the huge sound system and listening to everything. Music is very therapeutic.

My “go to” is a few different things, but they are all something I do by myself, except 1, and that’s hot yoga, but I feel like nobody else is there. It helps me clear and calm my mind, and after it, I feel refreshed, renewed, and ready to go. I then head to starbucks and get one of my favorite 2 cold, caffeine free drinks, and regardless of the time of year, I will make sure I have a folding chair, a blanket, and my book, which ever one I am reading at the time, and just go for a drive and find a peaceful place to go curl up in that chair with my blanket, drink and book and just read. I love to go sit by lakes because of how tranquil they are.
When I can’t go do any of that, I will at least do hot yoga at home, by locking myself in the bathroom, turn on the shower and just sit in it. I close my eyes, take deep breaths to help clear my mind, and just feel the warm water hit me.
At night, I will play soft tranquil music with sounds of rain, & take deep breathes.

Hiking does it for me. Working on cars too until it becomes a problem of its own. Even then it soon gets my mind off whatever else was bumping around in there.

Two things: Bullseye pistol shooting, requires shutting off the brain and just existing. The other is photography, which requires shutting off everything externally, and focusing on the subject through the lens.

I love everything Firearms related. I just graduated with an Associates in Firearms Technology and that is my stress relief and mental health reset. Shooting, tinkering, fixing, etc.
