My "go to" method for a mental health reset is to remind myself of the people, experiences, and things I am grateful for. Sometimes that can take on the form of taking a deep breath to show gratitude for being alive, deleting social media apps to create and cherish memories of my own, or sending a text to someone in my contacts to let them know I am thinking about them. Recently, I've even enjoyed using generative artificial intelligence (AI) to help me reframe negative and unproductive thoughts.

Music, theatre, and talking with friends. Exercise to a limited extent, but that causes more stress than it alleviates.

Yoga and meditation have become my ultimate "go-to" tools for a mental health reset. In the fast-paced and often overwhelming world we live in, finding moments of inner peace and clarity has become essential for maintaining a healthy state of mind. Yoga, with its harmonious blend of physical postures, breathwork, and meditation, provides me with a holistic approach to address both my mental and physical well-being. The flowing movements and deliberate stretches release tension from my body, while simultaneously calming my mind and allowing me to be present in the moment.

My go to has always been music and meditation. I love to just kick back and rock out to some metal music. Might sound strange but it has always relaxed me.

Weed and watching TV with my German shepherd. I'm a simple person.

I take a “no responsibilities” vacation once a year where I am not responsible to take care of kids or anyone. Plus I am a lampworker. I blow glass and make marbles, pendants and ornaments. My studio is my happy place.

Running. The longer the more mental clarity.
