The best method I use is taking the paddle board out on the water. I'll load it up with a cooler and hammock and paddle out to a little island in the sound. Then I set up the hammock between a couple of trees, open up my snacks and just chill. Phone is on "do not disturb" and all I hear is the crashing of waves around me. Just perfect

Listen to music, mainly Pink Floyd. If you ever listen to keep talking, to me describes me.
I also am into model railroading and that helps me relax.

I create leather products, such as belts, wallets, purses, etc.. When I sit and hand-tool some leather while listening to Pat Metheny's "End of the World"-extended version, I am at peace with the world, no matter how upset or stressed out I was when I first started.

Treating yourself to one massage every so often gives you a hard reset of relaxation.

I pray, exercise, and go see my therapist. In that order. Repeat. Often, I do not pray or exercise enough. The depression can be debilitating. Mental health is directly affected by our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. To reset mentally, you need to focus on all three.

I generally don't get more than a minute or two to relax but I try to close my eyes and focus on my breathing until I forget what was bothering me.
