My “go to reset” for my mental health is spending time “fishing” in the swamps of South Louisiana! Gators and snakes are my biggest worries, so NOTHING else is on my mind! I stay safe, & it’s an amazing time in God’s country!

I get outside and work in the yard. There's something about a little hard work at my own pace, nature, and some time to think that helps me reset. I try to do this at least once a week and it works wonders. From time to time, helping someone else (with anything) is another way. You'll find perspective in witnessing the struggles of another...and then lending a hand. God Bless, Friends!

I really think yoga and meditation would be beneficial for me. Being on limited income it is nothing I could afford so I am going to look in my local area and I have bookmarked the library for a resource for discovery and see where I fit in to begin. Thanks for recommendation. I am grateful!!

I try to work in the garden. It gives me a place that’s quiet and calm. It gives me a goal and a focus and something to care for. I also enjoy seeing how they change everyday and trying to figure out what they need.

DIY Audio Projects. Soldering resistors and capacitors onto a PCB board is very relaxing. It's just me and the soldering iron. Life is good.
