My mental health reset usually involves going for a long walk in a low-stimation environment with something relaxing to listen to (audio book or music).

Nature. I go to someplace beautiful, quite and private. Sometimes I feel like a walk or hike, other times I just want to be there. I also like to pray, worship, journal, and meditate on Scripture. Bringing along some favorite food and beverages is a plus.

Vacation!
A quick weekend road trip is the best way to reset.
Also, ketamine assisted therapy is where it’s at. I highly recommend asking your provider for a referral through the VA…it’s a thing now.

I found a therapist who uses brain healing techniques such as Brainspotting and A.R.T. These methods have broken the cycle of anxiety in my brain, removed the affects of trauma, and now my body does not react on a daily basis with adrenaline and cortisol. I told my therapist I didn't believe any of this was possible. She made me a believer. I have much more work to do, but this has saved my life.

I like to take a nice walk in a natural setting such as a park to mentally reset.

As a former Navy Diver I learned that watching YouTube videos of water scenes above and below sea level have allowed me to move into the silent world of calm and a different reality than the raging war on land above.

My mental health reset would be relaxing with my dogs and drinking tea and watching my favorite k drama with a good hard workout in the morning.

Just sit outside in my backyard where it's quiet and listen to nature.

My go to for a mental reset is walking and doing yardwork. I say yardwork but my wife says I just doodle around in the yard. I like to just be by myself and be outside to breath. It helps me calm down if needed or just have me time.
