I take what's called a "Me Day". I spend the day doing things for myself: creating art just for fun, meditating, spending time in silence, eating my favorite foods, taking myself out on a fun date, ect. Each day I take depends on why I need the reset: what trigged it. Sometimes I do nothing all day and do what my pets want to do.

Are use yoga, I have my 200 hour yoga teacher certification. I teach twice a week and try to go to other times as well. I definitely noticed a difference when I’m not going. Interested in getting certified with Warriors at ease.

MY go-to method for a mental health reset is a good workout/run and to be outside caring for my animals at home. Also playing with my kids can get me to forget life problems and to reconnect with them if I need a break.

Diaphragmatic Breathing. It takes about 10 minutes, tops, but changes completely how I feel. Using the "Breathe2Relax" app by the "Defense Health Agency" walks you through how to do it properly and once you have it down, it takes maybe 5-10 minutes each session after that. I've tried a lot of anxiety and deep breathing apps, etc. but this one is best. It really bleeds off the stress that is being stored up in the body and causing so many other issues.

Mediation, yoga, spending time with my granddaughters, bonsai trees and reading. I have learned to slow down and enjoy the small details of everyday life and to take nothing for granted!
