I attend my acupuncture sessions every two weeks. It helps me sleep better and reduces pain throughout my body.

A five minute walk around the building, outside preferred as I work and live near green belts.

I mediate several minutes before getting out of bed and again when I feel a little overwhelmed with work needed to be done in the house, my relationship with my son, as well as climate change and the lack of gun controls. That's about ten to 12 times a day and counting!

Go into a room alone. Put on noise canceling headphones and listen to relaxing music without words.

Do something different. Anything. Even if it's just taking a different path to work, home, or the grocery store. Try a new hobby, call someone you haven't spoken to in a long time, or go to a venue you've never been to. Getting out of a "regular", repetitive routine can reset your way of thinking and challenge your mind.

I have been using meditation as my go-to method as my go-to method for my spiritual and mental health reset. I not only use this method but have also been a trainer in meditation. Meditation is one of the most excellent and efficient methods anyone can undertake to communicate with their inner self and advance themselves spiritually. Even if only used as a relaxation technique, meditation can bring you better awareness of yourself. Meditation, for me, has become a blessing in my life.

I like going to a metro, state, or national park and walking the many trails available to relax and listen to all the natural sounds.

My go to for mental health is in the middle of nowhere. The only person with me is my wife. I take little camping gear and just enjoy nature. I hike while there looking at what God and Mother nature made and let everything else go.

Physical activity is my go to. I hit the gym every morning and jiu jitsu 3-4 day a week. Jiu jitsu is a great way to get rid of frustration in a supportive environment. Martial artists are one of the gentlest most supportive groups. The comradery is great. It's nice to have a group of friends from all walks of life like college professors, business owners, high school kids, and stay at home moms.
