My go to mental health reset resource is my TREK road bike. I am fortunate to have 100's of miles of bike trails in and around my home area of southeast Nevada. The bike trails are challenging, and I have created multiple 15–20-mile routes. I have a STRAVA app on my phone which enables me to compare times from previous rides. It is not uncommon for me to see various animals that reside in the area as well as people out for walks, joggers or fellow cyclists.

Currently my goto is fishing. Just being out in nature where most of the time is peaceful and quiet can be very relaxing. Of course catching fish makes it a bit more enjoyable, but just being out there is a great way for me to unwind and relax.

My go to is wood working. shutting out everything else and just focus on your current project.

My family and I just went to Yellowstone and a couple other national parks for 2 weeks. That was the best mental reset I think any of us have ever had and we’re already planning our next mental reset next summer!!

When I am particularly anxious, depressed or had a dream or nightmare that upset me, I sit myself down and just write whatever comes tomy mind. I continue to write until I have nothing more to say. I've found this to be a way of processing what might be bothering me and I usually gain some insight into what the problem is. I might write in a booklet that I keep for that purpose or just write on whatever I can find handy.

Walking at the park, focusing on external things and not internal thoughts. Imagining how I want my dream future to look and feel and ignoring thoughts that do not serve my own peace and happiness.

My "go to" method is very simple and I've found it to be an very inexpensive and simple method and it has been extremely helpful. If i can I find a quite darkened place and just relax. If I can find a darkened place i just find a quiet place and sit and clear my mind. It has been very helpful.
