What's your opinion on job search websites wanting you to add your ASVAB scores to your profile? Does it really make a difference to civilian employers?

Outside the Military no one has a clue what the ASVAB is and what constitutes a good score.

SrA Derrek Cherry I have not seen this. Which job search websites are you specifically talking about?
Thanks.

It's another metric that employers can use, especially ones that are vo-tech heavy versus others. A lot of vocational-technical colleges and universities use it as a standard battery for entrance, so it makes sense.

Nothing wrong with it.

Other than a way to weed out applicants, I can't see what difference it would truly make. Me, anyway, I'm more interested in how a person can apply what they know (and can learn) versus a test score.

The typical civilian doesn't know what the ASVAB even is.

Wow...is that a real thing? That's gotta be up there at the top of the list of the many absolutely moronic things that are asked from job seekers.
Just plain stupid!
