What's your stance on energy drinks within the military?

Have you noticed a high increase of energy drinks within the military. Personally I believe it has become wildly abused in terms of the constant intake by some soldiers. I've witnessed people having four to six daily.

How many energy drinks would you say is way too much for anyone to consume each day?

One NCO on my first deployment told me he easily drank 4-6 Red Bulls per day. That can't be good for you.
