What should I do if my EPS promotion offer is revoked due to failure of unit offering the position wrongly due to misinformation?

So, I have an interesting one. I'm in the ARNG, I received a call for an EPS list E5 or promotion. I completed BLC 6 months ago but I'm 4th on the list. Yet I was the first called. I promptly accepted. Today I discover that they failed to call an individual who was above me who also had BLC 2 months ago but they weren't tracking him completing it. I was informed that they had to revoke their offer to me and give this individual the promotion offer. He accepted. I don't want to fight it because I know this soldier and truly believe he is more deserving. My question is how does this affect me on the EPS list? Am I still promotable in the aftermath for this year? What should I do as a follow up to the situation?

SPC Mooney,
I am a Battalion PSNCO and deal with this all the time. You are still on the OML is you're same order. If the two above you haven't completed C you are next up. Hope this helps and good luck!

im not in the ARNG however, the OML should have you in the same placement. There should now be 2 individuals above you, and you are 3rd in line. Your p status should not be effected. Look on your SRB and make sure your points are still there to show your promotable status, and also check the EPS list, or OML when you can. give yourself time to fix any issues that you may have due to this, and fix it before the next promotion time frame
