What should I do if my recruiter sent in a request to get my records, and it has been a week (prior service with RE 3 code with LBK)?

I finally had a chance to go in a visit with a recruiter everything seemed to go fine until he saw my re3 code with LBK. He was stumped on how I got an honorable discharge yet re3. He sent in a request to get my records it’s been a week still nothing yet. Should I bug him or just let it be? I’m making 80k a year I’m not hurting to get back in for security I just honestly miss the army life.

It's not that unusual of a situation. Chances are you'll get a waiver as long as you are enlisting while the Army is in need. They can take a while though. Mine took 6 months. He's getting credit for putting you in so it's not as if he's going to blow you off.

You are pulling down good money-why go back to sixty hour weeks for a lot less? Consider trying one year in the Guard or Reserve and see if you get back some of that lost Army feeling. Good luck!
