Know your Land Nav and be sure to do your push-ups in the correct form and to standard, especially for that first APFT. Practice foot marches as well. Academics was one of the best parts for me. If you and your roommate work together, you'll have no time keeping your room squared away, as well as make your hit times formation. Strength in Knoweledge...good luck!

Learn to do all personal hygiene, make bed, secure personal items, get dressed, check your roommate, go down possibly three flights of stairs and be in formation with a good attitude in 7 minutes.

What should I do to prepare for the Warrant Officer review board?

If you are going to appear before the board... You will be asked to explain why you want to be a warrant. Be prepared to answer any mediocre or needs improvement on your NCOER's. If you are questioned about NCOER's that are mediocre, divert their attention to deployment NCOER's if applicable. I explained to the board that my 2 days a month was not indicative of my performance but my deployment NCOER's were. If you want to pursue higher education, indicate that. Be assertive. Don't talk with your hands. Make eye contact with the board officers. Good luck.

I report to WOCS in March and I mainly focused on my physical conditioning. From what I hear the academics are not too stressful and I normally don't have an issue in that Department. While on leave I will practice land nav.

Make sure your DA photo is up to date and of course your ERB and IPerms is complete. Highest APFT you can achieve. The rest is gravy until your boots hit the ground a WOCS. Good luck.

Then just be squared away and familiarize yourself with aviation basics and what to expect. You'll be fine :)
