More respect and better treatment. Pres Biden’s family has a history of serving in the military. Unlike the previous administration led by a 5x draft dodger that bashed POW’s, Gold Star families, and said those that do serve are “suckers” to General Kelly at Arlington cemetery. Pres Biden won’t use our troops as photo props as trump did w/ SEAL team 5 that also showed all their faces and location. For starters...

The peaceful separation of the United States. I'm a liberal atheist. For too long the progressive left has been moving ever further left, so much to the point that no one recognizes them. Like third world countries, we made problems by drawing borders based not on who can peacefully live together, but based on resources. And just like the third world problems created by artificial borders, I think we need to redraw them.
I'm not stupid, the left is insane. So much to the point that I get mad when anyone on the left falsely calls themselves liberal and makes decent people like myself look bad. We can't live together. There are many political ideologies and most of them can live together. I, a liberal atheist, can live with pretty much anyone across the political spectrum..... except the far left (collectivists to include progressives and Marxists). They have lost their minds and we need to separate. It's already descended into violence. The left actively does everything in their power to hurt anyone to the right of Mao Zedong. We need to separate before the rest of us respond in kind to the left. Center left, centrists, center right, right, we can all live together, but the far left has to go, especially before we respond in kind and the far left suffers the same violence they inflict on others by everyone else who can't take it anymore.

We should expect that both active duty and veterans will have to come to the point where we have to remember our oath is to protect and defend our Constitution against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. Forgive me, but I am responding to many of the comments made to this question. I have never experience so many idiots in one place in my life. Our constitution allows for us to vote for a new president every four years, which we have done in an orderly fashion. No uprisings, no executions at the poll, etc. What we had was a change in ideology due to the majority wanting that change.

The Trumpistanians would love us to believe that Democrats are not Veteran friendly; aren't military savvy and; want tax cuts for the wealthy; however, in comparison what have Republicans done? Increased military service by increasing the national deficit causing Gov't to hike taxation on the middle class and lower income families. Under the Republican controlled Center, the rich get richer and the poor live on the edge of poverty. Is this the American Dream?
The Democrats are attempting to revive the economy after Trump's "Chinese Flu" prank, which is an insult to the medical community, has left parts of America with no place to bury its Covid-19 victims. Is this the American Dream?
Any decision made by political leaders are generally lopsided in favor of the Party's agenda. Bush II went to war in order to complete the uncompleted work of his father Bush I. This tragic decision left the Center with a deficit of trillions of dollars. Obama brought home troops and curtailed spending to overcome Gov't deficit that Bush II left behind. Trump tried to pamper Un twice without success and jostle China; DJT ran a totalitarian state or a dictatorial regime in the USA to bend laws in his favor, but resistance got the better of him because we, in the U.S., enjoy a system of checks and balances; no political party or political leader is above the law.
Biden is only settling into his new role, so let's give him time to adjust his fire and get rounds on target.

Expect a lot of people to make up facts about how bad he is for the troops when simple google searches show that troops got raises every year that Obama was president, George HW Bush cut troops deeper than any other president in my lifetime, and the republicans have killed every VA Bill even ones that they introduced.
