Give those people in society that need a second chance a chance to serve their country, let all people be included in service to this country . Start with military exposure at an early age to let people know that this could be a choice/option. Change how you deal with soldiers and let the upcoming generation see it

Revert to being a great U.S. fighting force and stop all the 'woke' BS. Good troops need to be able to depend on their fellow service members.

Get the woke nonsense out of the service and quit mandating experimental and untested vaccines.

Kill the WOKE stuff! The world feared/respected us for our ferocious intelligent fighting and undying loyalty to each other! Nothing else.

I was a child of the 80’s & 90’s. When public service announcements were prevalent and the Army was ‘Be All You Can Be’’ ! I believe that’s partly why JFK’s saying of “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country” struck a chord with me. This ideal does not register with most of those in this current generation. They now, collectively seem to have a sense of entitlement and belief that they are owed something. Emphasize the benefits they will receive upon joining and throughout their time in service.
Make PSA type commercials for many of the MOSs. Many people don’t understand that trying in the military can be an important stepping stool in life. Nor are they aware of the myriad specialties they can learn, while achieving college credits.
For instance, our nation (and globally) is currently facing a shortage of medical professionals, specifically Radiographers & Mammographers. Completion of 68P, allows the Soldier to sit for a national registered exam. In the civilian sector, Radiography school is tens of thousands of dollars. Or zero dollars in the ARMY. The ARMY pays you to go to school!

By providing a better understanding of the perks to being in the military that helps with a career after the military and all the advantages veterans have once out. I know to this day there is still a lot of benefits and perks I am still finding out about as a veteran that was never discussed with me. An the brotherhood that has helped me through some of my hardest moment in my life with there ideas and intuitive help

I feel that our military is fading away. What ever happened to
"Honor"
"Duty"
"Loyalty"
"God"
"Country"
The Principal values
We are focuscing on to much emotions, sex gender, politics
Focus on how to "DEFEND our Nation" and being "Brothers and sisters", Respect the "RanK" and "Drill SGT's being Drill SGT's"
Tik Toc is Jacking up our Nation, everyone is just focusing on the phone to much , bring back basic rules and lets make our Military strong again.
We have a job to be respected Globally.

I look at this from two different angles. Frist as a grandfather, who has shared his military experience with some family members, both male and female. One has already joined the Army, even though I suggested the Air Force. He and his wife are doing very well in the Army, and they will retire from it, at least at this time that is their plans. Another Family member has been considering it but has obligations to her family that would make it difficult to leave them for any reason. I don't suggest it to some of the other family members because I don't think they would be able to do well in the services. So, it comes down to knowing who you are talking to. I would also ask them to at least give it a thought or two. Just being honest and sharing the good and bad about the military with all in your circle will help with recruitment. I think we could help in this way.
Second, as a professional, I work with Employers to help them hire job ready Veterans, so I get to talk with a lot of Veterans. I am a Local Veterans' Employment Representative (LVER). Most of the Veterans I work with; I would encourage them to share the opportunity of the Military with others. I have even had a couple go back into the Service after being out for a year or so. Then there are other Veterans that it may not be a good idea for them to share their experience with others. Overall, though, I would say, ask the Veterans out there to talk and encourage the younger people to give the military a good look before committing to another vocation. They know what to say and if they are honest, it won't be a flowery sells pitch that they will get from the Military Recruiters. All the information one needs to learn about the Services is available to them.
My third thought is, like many others have said, take the "woke" out of the military. If you have to identify as something that you are not, I will not consider you stable enough to trust you with my life or anyone else's. Just saying, not a confidence builder for me if you have male genitals and you want to say you are female. No, I am NOT homophobic or anything else, to each his own, but when it comes to relying on someone ... not for me.
