Basic is easy just do what you’re told and don’t quit. Know that it’s supposed to suck and nothing is personal. Have fun where you can.

I’m here at Ft. Huachuca now about to graduate from the 35T course. Pay attention in class and you’ll be fine. You scored high enough on the asvab to be here so chances are you’ll make it. You’ll be in holding for a while since classes are pretty backed up. I would bank on 1-3 months. It sucks but just stay out of trouble and focus on phasing up. Prepare for the TRADOC games to begin. This is basically adult daycare.

The course is worth it in the long run. Whether you stay in 20 or get out after four, this MOS is a great stepping stone.

Good luck

Being respectful and disciplined as a soldier goes without saying, and being cognizant of your time management is key.

You all have a lot thrown at you, and not all of it necessarily needs to be done immediately. But, I've seen many push off the work that is slated to be due for in the future off too late. In other words procrastination. It would behoove you to take initiative in your studies while you are there.
