I got a slot too go to BLC, formally WLC in April. What advice can you give me in regards to the course and location of Ft. McCoy, WI?

The key is learning to reference everything, dont bother trying to remember all of it, hell you dont even need to take notes at all, its all open book, they dont expect you to learn it all, they want you to be able to reference regulations, FMs, army programs and what not. the biggest thing you need to learn there is how to communicate effectively, and learn how to become an effective leader. DO NOT go into it thinking you wont learn anything.

I am slotted to go to WLC next summer and I hear some horror stories of people getting booted before graduation for failing the Land Navigation. I didn't do so good during basic many moons ago and I want to get a head start so that I can be prepared.
