I am currently in the process of a year long deployment, in that time I am wanting to get in the best physical shape possible to be prepared for selection once I get back. What are some recommendations or programs that you used for the best possible outcome?

Your installation SF Recruiter Cadre should have the workout pamphlets and be conducting workouts. 6 miles is a good benchmark for your run distance according to the Junior Bravo from the last ODA I worked with. Ruck until you can’t feel your feet and then some is the advice the Senior Charlie gave me. Don’t quit is all our Fox said. Best of luck brother. Remember Number One never makes it.
