Besides through my own upbringing, the service reinforced the learning of self respect, respect for others, manners, common sense, discipline, hygiene and the desire to continue personal growth and intellectual development. Thanks to all of the support I received from my leadership during military service I was able to eventually acquire an bachelor's degree, do post-graduate work, speak various languages fluently and advance into upper management positions!!!
