This morning I got to sleep in until 0830 and when I went outside for my morning breath of fresh air I head something different than I had heard any other day. While I am used to hearing the rifle fire from the range I live close to they added something new to me this morning, I got to hear the National Anthem. Automatic reaction was to stand an salute drawing strange looks from the only other individual outside at that time, he is not a veteran and asked me what I was doing.

Understanding his confusion I offered this explanation; "Rendering honors to those who founded this country, those who have and are serving this country, and remembering those who have died protecting this country.

I don't really recall. My mornings are a blur. Most of the time it is either a call for prayer or soldiers getting ready to go out to do Army stuff.

C3PO saying, "Wake up... WAKE UP!" (aka my stupid alarm clock) at 0300... But the next sound was beautiful as my Keurig came to life to bring me life this morning prior to going to work.

And what does the "O" stand for???? OH MY GOD IT'S EARLY!!!!!

My Charcoal grill thats sitting on my back deck has been over taken by a nest of birds. My wife tells me I cannot cook on it till they are gone, so its the same sound every morning till they fly away. Then the sound of a 3 y/o getting sick.....

Rain and thunder at about 0430. It was nice at the time, but it's going to make for a long day.
