What Was Your First Big Purchase After Separating or Retiring?

I purchased my first home. I was super excited to get to decorate it with any colors that I wanted. I made a play area for my children and was content to know I didn’t have to move again!

The biggest purchase at first was a used car to use after relocating from the East coast to northern Japan. Then all of the little purchases to set up my household to live here permanently--they added up to a HUGE amount over time :-)! After being established here, I treated myself to a Jeep Wrangler TJ for a pretty penny here in Japan, but it's been totally worth it as I romp around the mountains!
