In 1972 after leaving service I help my dad and then my to soon be father in law finish up his spring planting. A week later I got married and spent $1,000 on a 54 day 13 state honeymoon. We got back just in time to purchase a mobile home that I put $3,000 down of the $5,000 purchase price and then went to MSU on the GI bill.
