What Was Your First Big Purchase After Separating or Retiring?

A house. Finally found the home I wanted after years of searching, and bought it after my medical retirement. Good timing.

First purchase after getting off active duty was a car. But, when my wife and I got done with our ARNG enlistments, we bought a house.

After separating from the USN I decided to stay in San Diego instead of going back to NYC, I met a lot of people in the “industry” and me and my partner invested in a party bus company. My first big purchase was a beat up bus which we then turned into a beautiful pimped out party bus and started ikonix entertainment! It was good while it lasted
