I bought a slightly used hybrid car to maximize gas mileage on my 600 mile weekly round trip for work. Now that gas prices are crazy high, it is really looking like an amazing decision.

I went back to school poste haste! Studied. Made good grades. Now, working arse off.

My home. Got it for $59,000. Paid it off in 2011. Today the value is #211,000. It was brand new construction that the builder ran out of money as he built 7 houses. mine was the first built on an acre of land and nothing was wrong with it. can't say the same for the others except my immediate neighbor. Bought it in November 1982 and moved in February 1983. Still in it and still comfortable. it's even withstood a direct hit by a EF3 tornado in 2015. Suffered minor external damage but the house itself stood its ground. Praise the Lord!
