What Was Your First Big Purchase After Separating or Retiring?

A baby. Well, okay, not an immediate purchase per se, but my son, born only a couple months after I left the Army was far more expensive then some of the other items previously listed. Diapers, formula, clothes, a crib, and so much more. It was worth every penny and a pleasure to see how that "purchase" has suceeded through the years.
