The lines for the rides were too long and the food at the concession stands was too expensive.

I was sitting in the Dinning Facility and a lady came over to our table and asked if we were finished, she'd be happy to take our dishes for us. Between the quality of the food and the service I thought I was in a restaurant. On the flip side while living in Germany in Military housing my neighbor (AF) told me they get paid their BAQ because they had to live in substandard housing. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I first walked onto one as a PV2 in 1986. There was a USAF COL in the Dining Inn who served me a lobster. Not knowing that there was a special occasion at Pope AFB, I looked at my SQD LDR who said, "I know. I f***ing know."

I could actually see you paying the CQ not to rat you out! I have been at some of those "volunteer" senior officer meals so I know they can be awkward. Most of the time we had a great time, though!

MSG (Join to see) I didn't wanna bring that up. Hahahaha My 1st tour there in 91, I came, I saw and conquered just about every civilian woman with low self esteem without getting shot by a jealous boyfriend.
