I know it's a weird question to think of but an interesting thought. For after we take our last steps here and report for our own final inspection, our epitaph will be what others are left to remember us by.

So what will the epitaph on your headstone read? What it is that you hope others remember about you after you leave this earth?

As long as it says I was a good father, I will be satisfied.

Good question. At least I don't have to worry about "Hold my beer and watch this!" anymore... I seem to have survived that stage of life.

"Father, Husband, Marine" --but, if it's shorted to simply "Marine," that'll be fine.
