Once the switch is made and you start wearing the new Army camo pattern on a daily basis, what are your plans for your old ACUs?

Save it.  In 30 years when I'm 80, I can use it for those ancient Iraq/Afgan war reenactments ;)

I would like to keep at least one set. I still have a set of BDUs as well.
I would like to keep one set of each uniform I wear to show the grandkids one day.

Here's what I've worn (and have in the garage):

One set of the original "Elvis collar" BDU's

One set of Chocolate Chip (Desert Storm) Deserts

One set of regular BDU's

One set of early OIF Deserts

A few sets of Mutli-Cam OCP

I have about 15 sets of ACUs in the closet....I will keep one set ready for wear and the rest will become fishing/hunting/lawn mowing/oil changing/ditch digging/tree pruning/weed eating apparel....actually happy for this change!

I will save mine for working in the yard and paintball. It works well in gray gravel and dead grass. My brother learned the hard way by betting his CoC the digital pattern didn`t blend with anything, he paid with many push-ups and this is how I know.

CSM Uhlig: I figured you would also have some OG 501s and Jungle Fatigues. They were in my early career, but probably beyond wear out date for you. LTC Heater.

Give it to homeless veterans or shred/burn it like downrange.
