When are military uniforms allowed at political rallies? I took this picture off my TV today at a Trump town hall meeting.

The uniform is a huge no go. That picture of Trump is going to cause me to have nightmares though. Looks like something from a horror movie there.

Maybe time to revisit/modify the policy. LGBT's can wear uniforms to gay parades. It's time to stop special treatment and incorporate fair treatment.

Can soldiers where their uniforms at an st. Patrick's day parade as a proud Irishman? Not sure it is a political statement. Gay Pride, Irish Pride, Latino Pride....if ok for one, treat and respect them equally.

Not the first time it's happened with the Trump campaign.

Marine Rebuked for Performing at Donald Trump Rally in Uniform
A Marine who recently performed the national anthem at a Donald Trump presidential campaign rally has been told to cease further uniformed campaign activities.

I guess my question would be, and the only way I could see this officer thinking, is it allowed at a "town hall"? Remember this isn't a rally where you'd show support it is a town hall to ask questions. Pure ignorance on where to draw the line. I wouldn't have done it for sure.

Looks like a infantry captain national guard perhaps because of the amount of ribbons, but you are right we are not allowed in political events, we sereved the people of the United States and leave the Army Values
