When are military uniforms allowed at political rallies? I took this picture off my TV today at a Trump town hall meeting.

As a veteran, I will wear my uniform any time or place that I damn well please. I have earned it. What are they gonna do take it away.

Instead of all the guessing and "I thinks", check the regs. AR 670-1, chapter 3, para 7. Can't wear it to a political rally.

It's a town hall meeting so all you haters need to back off. Totally allowed to wear a uniform.

Minder-drop, you are soooo wrong. Dust off your old PFE study guide and see for yourself. The older versions even mention "political rallies".

Is a town hall a political rally? They had town halls with several candidates, the tone of what I saw on TV from these was not a political rally, it was more of an interview -- I'm not certain the Hatch act would apply, though I'm not a JAG and I certainly wouldn't do it without some clear guidance on the issue.

I don't see how anyone could support Donald Trump as commander-in-chief. This man has flip-flopped on so many issues that I could never trust him as a leader.
