I was at a recruiting event with a bunch of relatively new guys. Not only were they rolling up OCP sleeves they were rolling up ACU sleeves. From all the articles I've read I see OCP to be rolled but does not mention ACU. (actually they call OCP pattern ACU in the articles.)

STEP ONE: stop calling a pattern of camoflauge as a different uniform. the ACU comes in UCP and OCP patterns.

I was always under the understanding that the UCP, OCP were different. Kind of like the ACU is a different uniform than the BDU.

ucp and ocp ARE different. but acu's, while they HAVE gone through changes since their inception are the same cut in both patterns now. bout the biggest difference is the removal of the mandarin collar that came out with the UCP version. Point being, you will not find separate rules for their wear aside from a wear out date for UCP and OEFCP and in regards to mixing and matching patterns with gear.

So ACUs were included? Or was it just OCP? They talk about ACU in all the articles but show OCP pattern.

SPC Colin Jenks - I think, perhaps, they just had a model w/ OCPs on. I would go by the word. If questioned, you can point to the word that is printed. I mean, that's what they always go back to, anyways, right? What's on the paper overrules what is said?

SPC Colin Jenks - Did you just completely miss the following paragraph in the article?
"The guidance on rolling and cuffing ACU sleeves pertains to those of the universal camouflage pattern, or UCP; operational camouflage pattern, known as OCP; and the Operation Enduring Freedom pattern."

Sure was a lot easier when you had either fatigues, or jungle fatigues. Of course back then Air Force had short sleeves.
