When do you predict the AC FY 15 SFC list will be released?

I understand we won't find out when the list is to be released until the Milper msg comes out. However I would like to entertain the predictions of the release prior to the official message coming out. This will possibly provide some answers for those of us that are new to the centralized promotion waiting game.

I guessed the first week of September back in August and obviously that was wrong. My new guess will be around mid-September.

Milper message release on Sep 1 or 2 and results on the 4 or the 5th. My reasoning is that looking at HRC's FB the board finished on 2 July and it will take at least 60 days to complete the quality control checks. They have to release the QSPs first.

SFC,
They don't release QMP publicly, so I am sure they are not going to notify each person prior the the SFC Selection list being released. I think we will have the MILPER this week at least I hope they do.

Yes you're absolutely correct. I meant the board will have the names of the individuals who will be QSP first to eliminate them from the SFC considered/selected list.

The entire point of the QSP process is to eliminate those personnel who are showing no growth/upward momentum capability or desire. If you are being considered for QSP, I would assume you aren't on the promotable list, and likely not on the considered list to begin with (for reasons that would initiate QSP, such as the lack of SSD competion). QMP, however, actually has a milper message saying promotable status makes a soldier ineligible for the QMP, so in either case, promotion wins out. I would guess this means just the opposite of what you are saying. Personnel selected for promotion are being removed from the QMP consideration list, which means the promotion list will likely be posted before HQDA pushes the determinations for QMP down to the unit level. The mix-up in understanding occurred because Army Times published the story and said that G1 was waiting on QMP notifications to go out. If you re-read it, what was meant was that the board convened late because the notifications of QMP consideration were going out, which threw the entire process behind.
