When do you start wearing ocs rank? Where can I find the reg?

DA Pam and AR 670-1 show you how to wear the OCS insignias. There is no “rank” in OCS, you’re simply a candidate. As CPT Sharpe said, you should report to OCS wearing the OCS insignia, not before or while still attending battle assembly. Good luck in OCS.

You put it on when you get there. Probably start with the gold OCS rank before you class up and then you put on the black. Recommend you put on the gold just before you sign in.

You start wearing it when your an OCS student.

Congratulations. Now, First thing before going, and do it every day. Look in a Mirror and remember who you are and where you came from.

When you get to the schoolhouse. They will tell you which rank to wear, and when to wear it. You certainly don't put it on prior to arriving at the school.
