sniper search sir! lol we had a brand new second LT in my unit who insisted on being saluted in the field on his first field problem with the unit. Until a couple of us passed him and saluted (left handed) and stated Sniper search sir he stopped us and asked us why we did that. We told him why. That a field problem is to be treated as if you are in combat and if he wanted his troupes to salute him in combat he would be a target for a sniper. That was the last time he was saluted in the field.
