When is partying at a military ball too far out of control?

When is partying at a military ball too far out of control?
- When it violates Army profession and professional standards as outlined by UCMJ (illegal, immoral, unethical), customs, and traditions.
- When it can or does end up on the front page of a major news organization and reflects poorly upon our profession.
- When it "goes viral" or has the potential go "go viral" and reflects poorly upon our profession.
- When a person would be (or should be) embarrassed to have their parents, spouse, or children see the conduct directly or indirectly via video, reports, or the like.

Can't say times have changed. However, the introduction of iphones w/ video recorders (and social media) have accelerated the time from when the initial misstep occurs to when the SgtMaj is asking you to "see him first thing Monday morning." I didn't see the video. But, I can guess that someone had some 'splaining to do. So, I answered the question: You know you've crossed the line when you get a text/e-mail/phone call to "see the SgtMaj."

I seen my Sargent Major get drunk at a ball. Not crazy but relaxed & chill where he was pulling Soldiers up to Dance & have fun. It was funny & nice to see him as a normal human being.

Now I can't see the video to see the example but the Military ball is to have fun & relax with each other. After a certain time when the "party poopers" left we all started having some fun. Nothing too much
