I enlisted into the Army National Guard on Nov. 11 2017, and on Jan. 16 2018 I was in a motor vehicle accident and suffered an injury of 3 herniated discs. On Feb. 25 2018 my commander had me sign an intent do discharge. Todays date is Dec. 11 2018 and I have still not received an NGB-22 or anything. Following my intent to discharge contact with my recruiter dwindled to 0 contact at all after about 4 months. He now doesnt answer my calls, except once about 3 months ago he said my paperwork was at JAG. I've been in the dark for quite a while now and to be honest I'm getting fed up, as I would like to know when I'm eligible for re-enlistment. I receive an RE-3 code and when I was in contact with my recruiter he reassured me I would be able to re-enlist with a waiver. Aside from playing the waiting game, any recommendations on what I can or should do? Thanks

I'm lost as to why it went to the Jags Office for a Medical discharge unless you were at fault in the accident.

Your state probably has a general in charge of their NGB. or contact your congressman (if wanting out).
