I was in Iraq as a soldier but in Afghanistan as a contractor (Transportation Supervisor: Vectrus Base Transportation) from 2009 to present) . Still enjoying the summer dust and winter cold air

No Burger King when I was there. The Pizza Hut had just reopened and there was a Green Bean. Pizza and a smoothie. The BBQ DFAC was pretty good, once I found out about it.

Ahh, Green Bean!! There was a BK when I first got there but it shut down. Pizza and subway.

I was there long enough to start liking that pizza... you had to let it sit long enough for the grease to solidify before eating it. I still think the Mango smoothies were the best in town!
