I know the board just ended, but I was curious if anyone knew when the MSG board results would be released. Normally it takes about a month, but what can I say? I'm eager to know!

With junior promotion boards you know the results are coming the 1st day of the second month following the board. Why is there not a similar standardized time line for senior promotions?

The MSG Promotion List is due to be released on or about 8 May 2015. We would like to congratulate those who have been selected to MSG. The AAR and the Fort Lee Proponent office are great resources to use for those that did not make it this year.
If you receive an unofficial list prior to release; do not distribute it. Delete it to avoid involvement in a 15-6.
This came off the ENLISTED QUARTERMASTER FACEBOOK page. I don't know how true it is becuase it is not being reported on any other HRC page. Just wanted to share the information with everyone. As in anything else though, I want to see it in writing first before I believe it.

U.S. Army Human Resources Command We have not developed or published the MILPER on the release. There is not yet an official release date. Any specific dates would be estimates on what people have heard. Once there is an official release date, we will make sure to push it out on this page and send it to all of our branch pages.

Bottom line is it is speculation and not confirmed. It is a good of a guess as anyone elses. If it is true then someone might be getting into some trouble for leaking that info.

Has anyone heard anything about how big or small this list will be? Someone said today it was a big list but I find it odd given the downsizing and all.

I have heard the same thing as well. With all of the Senior-Seniors either retiring or being sent to the house for being stagnant, it has opened up several slots. I keep hearing that it will be a good year for MSG.

Sometimes the waiting game is worth it, sometimes not. Think of it this way, if you are on the list when it comes out then you will just have a shorter amount of time to wait for your number to be called.

The results will come out when HRC releases them, unfortunately its a waiting game and patience is about all you can rely on at the moment. While anxious myself, decisions on to promote or not promote have already been made, I did the best I know I could do for my board file and performance captured on NCOER's to give the best representation of myself as a leader. Time will tell if this paid off or not.

I think we can speculate all we want, but until HRC is given the green light and MILPER message fielded we are in the waiting game and a lot of hearsay that I would take with a grain of salt.

It is starting to get ridiculous with all the waiting on promotions. It is really bringing morale down.
I know for E-4's and E-5's the waiting has been silly. For march the results came out on the last day of February. Why so long.

US Army HRC Enlisted Soldier Support Branch says there has been no official release date announced for the results of the FY15 Master Sergeant promotion selection board.
HRC will publish a MILPER Message approximately one week prior to the official release date.
It really does not say much and makes one wonder why they are holding back.
