The USAR Current Watercraft locations are Port Hueneme, Honolulu, HI; Baltimore, MD; Tacoma, WA; Tampa, FL; Morehead City, NC; Fort Belvoir, VA; Little Creek, VA, Ft Story, VA and Puerto Rico.
As an AGR I initially served at hometown USA, Morehead City, NC in the 824th TC Co in 1986 with quite a few kin folk thence transferred to the 464th TC at Ft Belvoir, VA in 1991. I'd have to agree with Lisa, I would consider the 824th TC one of the best, but it is home. In my 23 years of service have been to each location.
Although you are classifying as a 12k I would recommend either 88k (Deck) or 88L(Engineer) series for an MOS conducive to the Army's watercraft assets. Be prepared for a fun and challenging MOS.

I Googled the topic and found several articles about Army Reserve watercraft units. Here's another interesting link:

Army's 'best kept secret' floats
The 824th Transportation Company, a Reserve unit from Moorehead City, N.C., just arrived in Kuwait to start their yearlong deployment. The home away from home has a unique feature, it floats.

SPC(P) Lisa Carlisle, please meet SPC (Join to see). SPC Pratt, SPC(P) Carlisle. I'll let you two work this out. I think SPC(P) Carlisle likely has just the info you need. And there is the power of RallyPoint!

So are there AGR positions ? Or do the reserve units only have traditional reservists.
