I like the Tucson VA and the new Yuma, AZ CBOS is only about 5 -6 years old.
Excellent care . I've only been to about five VA's over 30 years - TUCSON, AZ is number one !

I am receiving excellent care at the William S. Middleton VA Hospital in Madison, WI....the staff is excellent and it offers the Dr's and Surgeons services from the University of Wisconsin Hospital right next door....they even have an attached walkway....

Downside is you have to drive from Yuma to Tucson for more specialized care which is 5 hour drive, ONEWAY. If you have at least 10% rating the VA will reimburse your mileage and put you up in a nice Hotel.

Although I have not used them, I have heard from numerous other Vets that all the VA locations in Iowa are very good.
