Where can I find a room to rent at Fort Benning?

Abrams Hall located on main post. For soldiers on TDY and/or in transition. I wouldn't trust Craig's List, but that's just me. I'm not sure of the rates, but being on post it should be affordable.

Rooms for rent in the Fort Benning area is tough. If you're looking for short term rental then the hotel on base is a good choice, the ones off post are ridiculously expensive. When I left Fort Benning NCOs without families were housed in the barracks, not sure if this policy has changed. When I read your inquiry I tried to make contact with one of my old colleagues in the area but she moved so I have no updated information to offer you. However, I know most people renting houses are pro-military and you may want to check the newspapers of Columbus for listings.
