SGT (Join to see) good questions. Let me knock these down one at a time.

Stop movement isn't stop loss. Stop loss was ended a decade ago. Stop movement can't stop you from ETS. Stop movement codes are placed on a unit prior to deployment. NTC ie not a deployment, and there should never have been any stop move code placed on you for that. What is supposedto happen when stop move codes are placed is that people who reenlisted for schools or movement option are placed on a rear detachment UIC and the regular UIC has a stop movement placed against it.

Your Retention is correct that you will have to extend for your assignment. That's straight out of the regulation and levy section will not cut your orders until you meet the SRR for the assignment you're going to.

Your request for extension that you handed your CO is required to be signed within 7 days of receipt. Whether the answer is approved or rejected, by regulation it must be returned within 7 days. If your CO denies it, he must return it with a bar. Since he has no reason to bar you, he MUST sign it approved. You can find this information in AR 601-280 (chap 11 I think, that's just going off if memory). It's under the part that discusses the DA3340-R.

Submit another one to him, inform him by regulation he must sign it within 7 days. If you don't receive it back within 7 days, head over to IG. This is exactly the type of thing they're designed for.

SGT (Join to see) because you must have two years on your contract from your report date in order to receive your orders. Whether you reenlisted or not is irrelevant to reassignments. They simply will not, and cannot, produce physical orders for you until that requirement has been met.
