As always start with the first step in your chain of command. Getting orders may be dependent on your MOS/Unit, i.e. a Marine with an MOS 3051 wanting orders to jump school. If you are close to EAS you can potentially make it part of your re-enlistment package, see your Career Planner. Ever consider Embassy Duty?

I took it to me coc first thing GySgt. Neither they, nor the training NCO knew dates, or classes. I would like to get some of the leg work done for them, i.e. find training dates, or at least a contact; so I can try to get the ball rolling.

Cpl (Join to see) - Have a look a MCO 1500.52C MARINE COMBAT WATER SURVIVAL TRAINING (MCWST). I don't know what avenues your seniors went down, and keep in mind I been away from the game for a while, but if it were me I'd query the "1" and "3" shops as well as the Career Planner, sometimes a wealth of info, but a, "we don't know" response is a non-player. Good Luck.

Have you talked with your training NCO about this? I would think they would have the dates and number of openings for your unit.

Cpl (Join to see) - I added the "training" tag to your discussion. Hopefully one of the many training professionals on this site will see this post and be able to provide you with some better input.
