The VA has asked for documentation that I deployed in the southwest Asia are of operations. They have my DD214 and are asking for more details on my deployment. It asks for any evidence, even if I have receipts from purchases. My deployment was in 2012 and I don’t have ANYTHING that proves where I deployed.

The VA has requested documentation to prove that I deployed to southwest Asia or the gulf. They aren’t asking for a specific document, they even say it can be receipts. I’m not sure what else will do for them and I need proof, not just that I deployed but where I deployed to. They have my dd214 and aperently the don’t look this up themselves. Where and how do I show them?
